TACTICAL SELF-PROTECTION
FOR MEDICAL AND NON-MEDICAL PERSONNEL IN THE RESCUE SERVICE AND FIRE BRIGADE
On the basis of typical situations and assignments in the "everyday" rescue service as well as in the context of special situations, the participants learn systematically to recognize and assess risks in theory and practice, to avoid dangers and to act properly in acute situations of danger.
The contents include:
  • Introduction to the topic "Self-Assurance in the Rescue Service"
  • Intrinsic safety measures in everyday life of the rescue service
  • Analysis of amok and terrorist situations
  • Behavior in buildings and apartments
  • Effect of firearms and explosives (IED / USBV)
  • Protection against aggressive patients including legal discussion of self-defense
  • Effectiveness of protective equipment (protective vests, pepper spray, etc.)
